To hell with cheesy christmas films (excluding Elf, Home Alone and Love Actually), I need to go on a Clint Eastwood film binge. Am loving his work even though i’ve only seen this, Gran Tarino and Million Dollar Baby.
Yes, i’ve got some serious catching up to do.

I normally hate romcoms, like horror films I desperately try to avoid them but i needed something potentially brain numbing as I lay in bed feeling slightly ill and sorry for myself.
I’m secretly (or not so secretly, i’m not sure how well i hide these things) a very soppy person so when i allow for my brain to switch off during a film (more easily done with this genre) and for it to ignore any possible cheese, then I can’t help but give into it and actually enjoy it. This, like 500 Days of Summer and Love Actually, was definitely far better than your averagely shite romcom though but i do believe Ryan Gosling (and possibly Steven Carel) might’ve helped me with that.
