I normally hate romcoms, like horror films I desperately try to avoid them but i needed something potentially brain numbing as I lay in bed feeling slightly ill and sorry for myself.

I’m secretly (or not so secretly, i’m not sure how well i hide these things) a very soppy person so when i allow for my brain to switch off during a film (more easily done with this genre) and for it to ignore any possible cheese, then I can’t help but give into it and actually enjoy it. This, like 500 Days of Summer and Love Actually, was definitely far better than your averagely shite romcom though but i do believe Ryan Gosling (and possibly Steven Carel) might’ve helped me with that.

Yes, I shall shut up and go to sleep now.

Ryan Gosling’s great choice in film and wonderful acting managed to make me cry like a baby yet again, the characters he plays have a natural talent of slowly breaking tiny fragments of your heart, making you wish they were real so could take them home, cuddle them and take care of them (unless this is just me and my weird love for the man).

Anyway was overall very moving, definitely recommend it and every other film he makes an appearance in.

Immaculate, i’m in awe.
