What a masterpiece though, the lead was an absolute hunk of fictional man character, we need more people to emanate some of his heart melting personality traits.

I admittedly get too emotionally attached whilst watching good television/film, but this gets taken to another level when i continue crying even after its over. Sadly as no one was around to slap me and tell me to get a grip, I resorted to doing it myself. You can’t watch this and not even well up the slightest bit, unless you have a heart of stone and don’t find war remotely upsetting, in which case you should go wander through no-man’s land and tell yourself “when in doubt, go forward.”
This Is England ‘88, Black Mirror and Any Human Heart all made outstanding television even if my heart did get slightly broken during the process of watching them.
We need more Woody’s in the world.
Phenomenal show. I say that not even having reached the end of the first season.
